OKAY! so now finally im gonna post about my trip to louisiana!
sigh! its such a long long post n u know im so lazy so thats why it took me so long to upload d pics n stuffs.HEE
please forgive me.. :]
okayy.SO we went to louisiana on the 7th of august.
n yeah this is the first trip we went since we reached america
we went there by car.n of course it was dad who was driving
it was such a tiring journey cause d journey was like 8 and a half hour..
and we were lost for some time cause we took a wrong turn n thus wasted some time
but luckily we had a GPS! or else i couldn't think of what will happen. :P
it was my dad 1st time to drive such a long journey.HAHA
It was a very good experience of life cause we saw a lot of scenes that we didn't see before

On the way to louisiana, we passed by many swamps! they say that there are alligators in d swamp! LOL! n of course d scene n d swamps were beautiful! :]

oh well.im lazy to type about d whole vacation.so just let d pictures dO d talking! HEE :]]

ABITA SPRINGS! the place we stayed at.it was such a nice environment to relax.cause its out of d city.n it is calm n quiet! actually abita springs is located at covington town.its a small small town in louisiana.although its a small town in abita springs but they have pubs n brewery.HAHA.
oh yeah.we stayed in louisiana for a week! HEHEHE.
yeah its a long vacation but it was nice cause my dad said he wanted to go somewhere to relax since he's been working n working..HAHHAA.
anyway we hanged around to relax n chill.lOl
we stayed in the apartment for two days not going out.just to relax..
HAHHAHA
we watched several hongkong dramas during d stay n it was so good cause i miss hongkong series much..lOl
we spend two days in New Orleans and one day in New Iberia
both of them are located in louisiana so we drove there.

okay.n we went to New Orleans! it is an awesome place to visit! cause its a city n it has lots of tall buildings!! HAHHAA.my bro liked it cause he was a city boy.==
and yeah..New Orleans has many historical places too, such as the French Quarter!
The french quarter is a place where once the french army took over and now you can find the buildings and the people there with french styles..

you can see alot of paintings there, french culture and people playing the saxophone, drums and people singing there.

anyway it was an awesome place to visit :]
Oh yeah n New Orleans is the birth place of Jazz music..
so you can hear ppl playing Jazz music all over d place.
n there are live bands performing too!
HAHHAHAHAHA
oh well.we had to cross a bridge over a lake to New Orleans from covington.

n you know what?

the bridge was super long. which was like... 30+ miles.

WOAHHH!! SUPER LONG lehh
n of course d lake was so not like a lake cause its super dooper huge cause we couldn't see the end of it!

besides,

I tried alot of food in louisiana, the cajun city.

i tried lots of cajun food such as gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish (mini lobsters) , PO-boy's and others..(awww.thats why i gained so much weight! :[ )

dad told us about the handgrip balcony

- During the 'Mardi gras' festival, the girls or 'guys' will be there drinking, dancing and enjoying themselves. bypassers can throw them colorful beads and if they catch it they will exposed themselves.

and so childrens are not allowed to attend this festival cause its inappropriate n also dangerous as it will b a huge crowd.

We also went to dine at Cafe Du Monde
its located at d french quarter as well..
they say this Cafe Du Monde is the must-go-place when u visit french Quarters

actually it reminds me of d ipoh old town kopitiam! SIGH.

bro said he wanted to try boiled crawfish n so we went to a restaurant that had boiled crawfish..

the other day,we went to New Orleans again.n we walked around...

ohhh.the other day we went to Lafayette, New Iberia.
we had lunch at the famous restaurant 'Prejean'
the food was finger-licking-good n unique!
u know what.
cause louisiana is famous for alligators n so my dad n bro said wanted to try alligator meat!!
GOSHHHHHH!!! im so scared of it n i dont dare to try it!
but my stupid bro forced me to eat! so i took a little bite.
he say it taste like soft soft punya chicken
but i think its quite strange! mayb cause im scared of alligator..
so i quickly drank water n swallowed it.
LOL
we was so full after d lunch cause d servings was SO SO SO big!!!
HAHAHAHA
after lunch, we headed to the tabasco factory in Avery Island
it is d one n only tabasco factory in d whole wide world!

d tour explained to us about how tabasco was made n so..
n it was pretty cool to know how tabasco sauce was produced.
the process needed 3 years for the peppers to age n ferment
and it was kept in barrels.d top was covered with lots of salt n soon d salt will turn to CEMENT!
HAHAHAHA
actually im not a fan of tabasco.cause i couldn't stand d smell of tabasco.mayb its cause d vinegar..

and parents brought some tabasco souvenirs in d shop..
